@nerthos to be completely fair, while i do agree that crime is bad and you shouldn't do it, having a misdemeanor on your record can banana you big time even years after the fact

@mrmattimation @delores While I can perfectly understand ending up with a record for stuff like say, getting in a fight? as it's something that happens, and often times people are sent to the police station for fighting even though they were defending themselves (and thus I consider such records should be erased after a few years with no incidents, like records are often deleted for minors); I do think that if you do something as stupid as get drugs or pee in public you deserve the handicap, not to even talk about theft, assault, or bigger crimes.

"no justice for you, you deserve this"
cue being registered as a sex offender-
@delores If you're in your car you can just pee into a bottle inside it. Just go to the trunk and grab any bottle or whatever container with water you carry for mechanical emergencies, drop it, and use that. If not, pull over on a secluded alley or whatever. Also I'm not sure if in places that aren't USA you're registered as a sex offender for peeing a tree, here it's at most uncivil behaviour or whatever you call it, same as shouting insults at someone.

@delores "i just can't believe i caught this 15 year old smoking weed, well, it's clear to me he's totally irredeemable, off to the electric chair with him"

@mrmattimation jaywalking? more like never walking. again. it's not police brutality if it gets criminals off the streets.
-
@mrmattimation TBH you shouldn't be smoking weed at 15. That'd warrant communitary service and a fine to the parents for not properly looking after the kid.

@nerthos @mrmattimation @delores Is peeing in public "criminal" anywhere? Punishable by law, yes, a misdemeanor, but a felony?
-
@clacke I'm not sure what the difference is since English is not my first language, but here it's simply an improper behaviour that you'll get a fine for, and maybe a few days locked up if you don't pay.
