              1. @retl That sounds entirely appropriate and not at all like some sort of innuendo.

                1. @starshine @thelastgherkin @quetzalcoatl Actually, I was thinking about http://rainbowdash.net/notice/113164 In combination with the fact that Gummy reminds me of chewy candies, and is bouncing on a balloon, which would be squishy. Alternatively, http://windstone.travisuped.com/index.php?q=/post/view/1985 This pony which I use as my icon on a few other sites is also bouncing on a balloon, which would be similarly squishy. No innuendo was intended. My apologies for the confusion.

                  2. @retl you and your balloons. I bet you have a monopoly on the world's latex and helium supplies.

Thursday, 09-Jun-11 18:32:06 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
                    1. @quetzalcoatl No, actually, I think Pioneer Balloon Company tends to dominate latex balloons since they produce both Qualatex and BSA. No idea about helium, though. I've always been too cheap to buy/rent tanks, and the house I live in has that spiky texture on the ceiling, so they wouldn't be very practical to keep without weights and strings, either. ... Though I do kinda want to try a Balloon Time disposable helium kit at least once. I wonder how many 16" balloons that can fill.

Thursday, 09-Jun-11 18:37:47 UTC from web
                      1. @retl I was kinda joking, of course, but yeah, if you do the helium thing, you should definitely sand your ceiling or weigh them balloons down. But it probably would be cheaper to just blow up balloons by mouth. Or with water. Cause if you have access to a swimming pool, fill them with water and put them under. They take on a jelly-like texture that way. Don't expect to salvage them, though.

                        1. @quetzalcoatl I'd imagine they're not very pool filter friendly either.

                          1. @colfax deffo. It is necesary to clean up after oneself if you do that.

                        2. @quetzalcoatl Jelly textuuuuure~ That sounds kinda fun, actually. XD I have a dual-action air pump, so that's pretty handy sometimes. And we're about to move to a new house soon, and I THINK the ceiling there doesn't have the stuff on it, but I'll have to double check next time I visit it to move more things in there.

    6. @abigpony There is no going back~!

Thursday, 09-Jun-11 18:45:31 UTC from web
    7. @greydragon412 That... Actually sounds really fun. The primary reason I wouldn't do this though is because jelly costs more than water. The second reason being that I'm not very sure how to get enough force behind the jelly to get it in there. Unless I stuck it into a pump or something? A funnel might work... I should probably invest in a funnel.

Thursday, 09-Jun-11 18:50:06 UTC from web
      1. @retl that... May not work. You'd have to generate a bit of force to get the jelly in there. And if it burst while full of jelly, well, I wouldn't want to be the guy who has to clean that up. Also, you could probably do the water thing in a bath tub.

Thursday, 09-Jun-11 18:55:09 UTC from StatusNet iPhone
        1. @quetzalcoatl I wouldn't want to clean it up either. XD I agree, the water solution is probably better.

Thursday, 09-Jun-11 18:56:39 UTC from web
    8. @greydragon412 Bwahahaha, do it! Make sure they're not allergic to the jelly in it, though, and that they're not wearing their favorite clothes or something. ... And that the balloon is a cheaper water-bomb style thing, because if it doesn't break on contact, it might actually hurt a bit.

    9. @greydragon412 Ooh, right. Good point.
