    just looked it up, suppressors are in fact much more heavily regulated in the US than they are in some European countries, and they're even outright banned in several states

      @mrmattimation Indeed. Suppressors were legalized over here in Minnesota a couple of years ago, but they are NFA items that require federal registration, months of waiting, a $200 tax stamp, etc. Not to mention that they often cost $600+.
