@gladosenchilada I'm also partial to YYYY-MM-DD, since that can be extended to the more precise YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss (and so on) and still have decreasing unit scales.

@gladosenchilada I prefer YYYY/MM/DD because then if you're trying to chronologically organize things, the information is in much better order for the task.
