        @redenchilada I couldn't bring myself to read any further than the first chapter of Eldest. I hated the first book but made the mistake of supposing that maybe he became a better writer after three years. I was wrong.

          @toksyuryel I kinda enjoyed Eragon, but halfway through Eldest I just got so bored of all the talking that I stopped halfway through. I forced myself to finish it six months later to justify starting it and hardly enjoyed it, and I didn't even try to read the next one.

            @redenchilada I found Eldest to be pretty boring. Brisingr was much better, though. Currently reading Inheritance. Will get back to you on that one.
