I am so seriously stuck in a rut and I don't know what to do to fix it. It's really screwing with me. I know I need to change something, but there really isn't a whole lot within my power - I can't just decide to make more money (trust me, I have tried and tried), I can't just leave my crappy house (see: no money), and really the intense monotony is just ruining me. I am so completely burned out on just working & coming home to my computer, going to bed & waking up to my computer... but what the hell can I do? I'm just trapped.

@scribus stop drinking, make a schedule of when you wake up and fall asleep, what day you wash clothes or go shopping. Make your bed in the morning. Follow that and you'll start feeling better

@renovatedkitchen No, no I won't. I've already drastically reduced my drinking, I do sleep & wake on a regular schedule, and one of those "My house is a piece of stupid crap" situations prevents me from doing laundry on a regular basis. And, I can't move because in order to have a place in SoCal you need to be making at least double minimum wage - which approximately nobody pays. I can't go to school to get a better job because a) that is a lie anyway, b) I once upon a time made almost enough money to pay rent and eat food and therefore don't qualify for aid, and c) need to work to pay for everything and therefore lack time for school.

@scribus all I got is the whole "make and follow a schedule strictly". Once that wears off though I don't know. Leaving here is nice because you realize how much time you waste on the computer then. But yeah. It's a crappy feeling

@scribus crap schedule will multiply any bad feelings. I'd say take a week off of work and here, spend sometime outside or doing things you like, without thinking about here or work. Makes me feel good at least. But that's just what I'd do.
