So what you guys are collectively saying is that when speaking of the 3DS is comes down to a matter of portability between the XL and the normal, but the system is still worth buying either way.

@zeldatra It's definitely a less clear screen. The regular 3DS is probably the lowest DPI I can stand on handheld devices any more.

@madflavors 3DS xl if you want bigger screens, double that battery life and the overall better model untill it gets to portability. In which case it's best you get the regular model but you'll miss out on longer battery and all that jazz. Trust me I own both.

@madflavors The XL is basically a better 3DS. The problems of the original one are fixed in it. The only advantage of the original 3DS is the size, if you're one of those people who wear really tight clothing with small pockets.
