I should probably phone my dad to wish him happy birthday, and tell him that non-horrible people tend to do that first thing in the morning instead of forgetting and telling you they've forgotten late in the afternoon causing you to scream and throw your phone across the room and cry all over your best friend's t-shirt. Not that I'm bitter about him crumbling our already shaky relationship. Not bitter at all.

@redenchilada There's "Not taking birthdays super seriously" and "Telling your son you forgot his birthday". One is normal. The other is being a titanic ass.
