      @snowcone This is literally only affecting people who live in DC or who get paid with Federal money. Since that isn't me I don't care. It's the same reason I don't care about the NSA. I got nothing to hide, so why should I care that they're reading my emails?

        @mrmattimation I wonder whether the shut down affects the national debt. I know it costs a lot. When we've hit the roof on debt the economy will suffer a lot I understand. I imagine that means less income for everybody, fewer jobs.. idk.

          @pony I'm pretty sure the shut down is part of a procedure to LOWER the national debt. I could be wrong though.

            @mrmattimation Not exactly, but it does have to do with the economy. The shutdown is being used as a bargaining chip to get the senate to postpone Obama care by a year as well as another thing I don't recall. Both sides seem stubbornly fixed on the issue.

      @snowcone I'm at a shelter that's only good for 3 months, after that I don't know... I still need to somehow get money to pay rent on a storage space with all my stuff in it

      @snowcone It's about $75 or 80 a month, I'd like to get a couple months ahead on it if possible, one less thing to stress about and all that, I also need to get a van so I can get my remaining stuff from the apartment
