I miss the crows. So much you guys.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 14:54:57 UTC from web-
@awlderpy Crows are really intelligent.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 14:55:22 UTC from web-
@flamingpandaomg i love trying to talk to them. Plus as a weirdo i see tyem as a good omen not a bad one.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 14:56:30 UTC from web-
@awlderpy if it wasn't for the fact that I can't stand birds as pets, I'd get a raven or something.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 14:56:59 UTC from web-
@flamingpandaomg oh i cant really stand them either as pets. The only pets ive loved completely were rats.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 14:59:48 UTC from web-
@awlderpy Never had any dogs you loved?
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:00:19 UTC from web-
@dropsterdash not personally. But i did pretty much take care of my foster parents old dog until she died.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:01:37 UTC from web-
@awlderpy That's a little sad. I'm a dog person, personally.

@awlderpy If I ever get a Welsh Corgi as a pet I'll Potato Knish myself in a giggle fit and die of happiness.

@flamingpandaomg *plans christmas gifts*
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:02:02 UTC from web-
@awlderpy Oh my God please don't. XD
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:02:26 UTC from web-
@flamingpandaomg hanukkah?
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:03:21 UTC from web-
@awlderpy XD I don't think I'd be able to handle the intensity of someone somehow shipping a Corgi to my door.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:04:07 UTC from web-
@flamingpandaomg [intensity]

@awlderpy We used to have rats that we'd feed bits of whatever breakfast or dinner we were having. They weren't fond of being touched though
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:01:08 UTC from web-
@mastertdi the 6 i had were like that when first had them but i handled them enough that they got used to it. Hell one of them liked to be tossed.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:02:54 UTC from web-
@awlderpy Haha. I guess once I first got bitten I never tried again so maybe if I did I would have had better results. Ah well.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:16:06 UTC from web-
@mastertdi that i understand. Luckily the 6 i had never did that but have been bitten by other rats before.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:29:58 UTC from web-
@awlderpy I've only ever owned those two rats, but I've had so many gerbils and hamsters before that I've lost count
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:30:42 UTC from web-
@mastertdi never had expirience with those, although i hear they are more hyper than rats.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:40:08 UTC from web-
@awlderpy I guess so. They make a lot of noise at night, but I never had the rats in my room so I don't know how they compare. Gerbils are easily frightened and move fast while hamsters get fat extremely quickly and then don't do much else other than climb the bars.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:42:35 UTC from web-
@mastertdi my 6 got a little noisy at nighttime but i think they became conditioned to be more daytime animals when they got older. I did have to keep them busy though, once in a while. If they were females it would have been worse by far. They get really hyper.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:44:36 UTC from web-
@awlderpy Haven't had many females. My last two gerbils were, but they weren't much different than the others excluding the fact that they were the ones that made me decide rodents weren't fun pets anymore
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:46:18 UTC from web-
@mastertdi oh? How so if i may ask?
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:46:46 UTC from web-
@awlderpy The one that lived longer got an ear infection and watching her suffer was pretty gruelling. Getting that emotionally attached to a pet that wasn't even very exciting to have in the first place kind of stopped sounding fun after that
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:49:18 UTC from web-
@mastertdi ah yes. This i understand. Out of the 6 i had, 4 had to be euthanised, the others i found dead.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:51:23 UTC from web-
@awlderpy Aw. :c Worst experience I had was with my first hamster, the night we got him we put him in the same cage as my sister's, and in the night he'd had his head chewed off, or so I'd been told.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:53:40 UTC from web-
@mastertdi oh they do do that. Ive never heard of rats doing that though, they tend to be much more social.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:55:46 UTC from web-
@awlderpy I guess it depends on how well they know each other. Only time any of our rodents fought that I can remember, except our current guinea pigs
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:57:13 UTC from web-
@mastertdi most like, and what their temper is like. I know male rats are wuite calm unless female rats or smaller creatures are involved. When they assert dominance its more like play than anything.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 16:03:12 UTC from web-
@awlderpy I hate it when animals are kill-y. My cats have brought in so many mice and birds and bugs in the past
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 16:05:27 UTC from web-
@mastertdi I think it's adorable. Of course my cat is an indoors cat, so most of his prey is insects he finds around the house.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 16:06:35 UTC from web-
@mrmattimation Oh yeah it's cute when it's a moth or something, but having to catch a frog isn't.

@mastertdi i just consider it nature in its balancing act.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 16:10:37 UTC from web-
@awlderpy Well yeah I get that it's nature and grape but that doesn't mean I like having mouse blood everywhere
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 16:11:33 UTC from web-
@mastertdi or feathers or the ensuing furballs/vomit.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 16:12:16 UTC from web-
@awlderpy Eugh
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 16:12:46 UTC from web-
@mastertdi i actually havent had to see cat kills uphand before. The cat my foster parents had was as lazy as one could get.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 16:14:33 UTC from web-
@awlderpy Closest I've come to seeing it in action was a glimpse of her throwing a pigeon across the kitchen and moth/spider eating
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 16:15:49 UTC from web-
@mastertdi in the wild ive seen a dog try snuffing out a badger... That didnt end well for either.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 16:17:11 UTC from web-

@mastertdi Hedgehogs are better.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:46:26 UTC from web-
@flamingpandaomg Me and my sister once found an injured hedgehog and put it in a box and looked after it for a few hours
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:47:18 UTC from web-
@mastertdi Hedgehogs are the best, only bested by Corgis.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:47:46 UTC from web-
@flamingpandaomg Penguins though
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:49:37 UTC from web-
@mastertdi I mean as pets.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:50:04 UTC from web-
@flamingpandaomg Penguins
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:50:18 UTC from web-
@mastertdi You can't own a penguin.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:50:33 UTC from web-
@flamingpandaomg I adopted one and that's pretty much the same thing
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:51:06 UTC from web-
@mastertdi Did you actually have to care for it in your own house?
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:52:02 UTC from web-
@flamingpandaomg Apart from that it's pretty much the same thing
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:53:50 UTC from web-
@mastertdi Then it wasn't a pet in any way.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:54:07 UTC from web-
@flamingpandaomg Wow can you not rain on my penguin parade
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:54:40 UTC from web-
@mastertdi Only if I'm allowed to have a Red Panda parade.
Saturday, 26-Oct-13 15:55:21 UTC from web-
@flamingpandaomg Buy me a penguin and I'll see what I can do
