@vt3c Dude, you're WAY TOO YOUNG to be worried about your life being worthless. :P Just enjoy school and the plethora of time you have to figure stuff out about yourself. I think a vast majority of us in here felt pretty useless at 16, as well.

@clayinthecarpet Oh it's a charming little establishment, nestled in the assend of nowhere, catering to all classes of homeless derelicts... from the recently dispossessed to the pill popping psych cases, it has all the charm of a Ukrainian latrine and is as well run as your average chinese firedrill...

@clayinthecarpet I have no family above ground, my last friend moved to VA because he and his wife & kids were being evicted, and the only real help I've gotten is from the people on this very site, who give more of a damn about me than the woman I spent the last 12 years of my life with.

@colfax This is why I'm grateful for my religious organization. I'll never be without somebody even if I get stranded in a foreign country alone. But seriously you need close friends. I've been lax about it but I have old roommates all over the place and coworkers who wouldn't hate it too much if I imposed a bit. It's hard to make close friends, granted, butworth the effort.

@clayinthecarpet I spend all my time looking for a job and a place to live that will be willing to work with OTA for the rent... I don't really have a lot of time for friend making right now... unless it's with other homeless people, and most of them aren't much for conversation, unless it's with themselves.
