I wonder what the best way to write the script down would be.

@flamingpandaomg Script as in coding, right?

@mrmattimation No, script as in all of the dialogue for the sim, funnily enough.

@flamingpandaomg Dialogue / branching for each route.

@flamingpandaomg Celtx is pretty nice. I use Google Docs though.

@mrmattimation I like GDocs just because you can easily share stuff and it makes collaborating incredibly easy.

@flamingpandaomg Jonathan and I usually write the final script in GDocs.

@flamingpandaomg There are script writing programs. Like, I dunno what they're called. Google it.

@thatoneatomicdoublejuggalobackbreaker Would it handle branching dialogue choices though? That's my issue. I can easily just write the script in a google drive document and call it good, but I want to be able to differentiate where in the dialogue that each route starts at.

@flamingpandaomg There are a lot of flow chart things you can get for google drive, but I found most were either limiting in how many shapes you could have for free or were just tricky to use. The one I stuck with was Cacoo, but I never tried putting mass amounts of text in it so it may not look pretty or anything

@mastertdi Yeah I have XMind open on my PC right now, and I suppose it would work, I just dunno how it'd look with a lot of text.

@flamingpandaomg I think flow chart programs are made for character relationship diagrams more than anything, so still good for something I guess. I honestly did all my writing /in/ renpy, or in a document which made it hard to follow

@mastertdi not made for, are good for*

@mastertdi I'll probably stick with a google drive document and have different pages for where the routes split like Michael said.

@flamingpandaomg I say do it like a Chose your own adventure book. Like, number each option and make a new page for every choice.
