And on a totally unrelated note: I love Friendship is Witchcraft to death but that show has ruined me towards Rainbow Dash. Now I can only imagine her saying things like "this is SO not rainbow!" Every other character in the show, FiW made me like more than I did before (especially Sweetie Belle), but in Rainbow's case, I need to relearn to love her watching the regular show over and over.

I truly resent whoever made that cupcakes video for using one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite artists in it. I hope it doesn't cause offended pony fans to despise Andrew WK, whose personality actually fits in well with pony culture.

@pony I remember hearing this. It's pretty nice! Similarly, I can't get over this Heluna parody. Even back when I would've complained about My Chemical Romance for whatever reason people complain about things, I couldn't help but love Helena. It's so much fun to sing... and the Luna-fied lyrics are genuinely emotional to me. @pony nevertheless, as I continue through the ridiculously infinite media archives on EqD, I am continually pleasantly surprised by some of my findings. Especially some of the parody songs which are moments of "this song I've loved for ten years just became a pony song and now I feel like my life came full circle" type deals.

@pony I am loving the fan content, though it seems like a lot of it revolves around just a few popular songs (besides obviously the ones from the show). I mean Autumn is catchy and all but I'd rather not have ten remixes of it...

Can't sleep. Guess I'll be catching the 8AM reruns yet again! I'm only as scared of burning out on this series as I am interested in seeing whether or not I *can* burn out on it. After all, there are cartoon episodes which I've seen like a hundred times... just not ones which I care about like I do MLP!

@pony mmm, still slim pickings. It just seems Sweetie Belle is so small she doesn't take up enough of the screen! My desktop icons are pretty sparse. I don't know why I'm limiting myself to Sweetie though, surely other ponies must have nice walls.

@axelgunn I tried to draw Rainbow Dash on this random piece of drywall I had laying around (long story)... didn't make it past the snout! Drew a stick figure comic on it instead.

@axelgunn I intend to make a collage of the full-page illustrations on my wall once I color them in. I'd just draw the ponies except I'm an exceedingly poor artist!
