@eurobeatbrony This is obviously not to say it reflects ALL fans by any means; more, that if we can't see the absurdity in this whole thing (be the representation realistic or exaggerated) and chuckle at it, aren't we missing something there?

All these people making a fuss over this "Brownies" video... honestly? I'm laughing my head off. It's a well-needed parody, and honestly it's about time this fandom had a sense of humor about itself. If you're taking a cartoon about multi-colored ponies too seriously, you probably need to reevaluate a few things. </controversy>

Sadly, I can see from Facebook's perspective in terms of this Facebook stuff. If they let a lot of people create fictional-character accounts, it'd end up that much more like Myspace, and I imagine FB users would rather their social media site survive a bit longer than that.
