@talltail There may be others from the FLA (the Future Lawnmowers of America), but you're the best. Use the image search at Google.com and find an avatar. I got this pink plastic pony picture by hanging around here until a magazine columnist came through with an article about a custom toy, but there were too many stock pictures of Pinkie and Gummy for me to choose just one.

@rotation rotates wildly.
-
@scribus For a moment, I thought that you were talking about intolerance of bronies. In context, that last remark makes much more sense.
-
Now, we have Oscar's IP. What do?

Since it is giving me that tingly feeling that I so love, I will reiterate. Fnordly.dyndns.org/wiki and tell me and I will grant you administrative privileges, if you like.

@starshine I think that you are right, but unless that was actually a request for my hosting the service for you, I am going to try to reinvent the wheel before I just roll with it.
-
There are Google bots looking for my dox and spambots hoping for me to proxy their perverted requests. I haven't really looked at it, but it seems legit.

@starshine Yeah, but experimenting with CGI is time consuming. With Mediawiki, you can just drop it in and build around it. For instance, I have intense disdain for MySQL or any separate database system. I think that the whole server should be an extension for Python and that the database should be a few gzipped text files and dictionaries and lists and other Python code.

@derps I don't know if you know anything about wikia, but I have a personal web server running off of a home-style connection to the internet. It is slow, but I have it set up with the same software used by the Wikipedia. It is an Apache server with mod_php and MySQL. I experiment with the CGI at fnordly.dyndns.org. Wiki (the markup language) is easy to learn. Just click on "Edit" at the top of the page and learn by example. Everything2.com is very similar and vastly superior, but I haven't even started trying to follow the Perl Monks, yet. Anyway, anypony is free to hook me up with some texts and uploads and new users and requests for fixes et al. at Fnordly.dyndns.org/wiki the plain, vanilla Wiki.

@derpyderp I'm hoosiern by birth. San Andreas has always been my favorite game other than mudding and modding PC softwares. I am really happy to make your acquaintance.
-
@derps Thank you! I would love it if you would correct me. Feel free even to go back and point out my long forgotten failures. Often, I let stuff slide without correcting it, but with your example, with deja vu, it was obvious that I would have continued to try and to fail as such until someone gave me help, as you did. Mainly, I wonder about proper placement of commas. For instance, I like my lists to have "this, that and the other," though I tend to just avoid the issue. There is really nothing to it but to do it. Again, I really appreciate your random criticism, and I will never be sarcastic with anypony other than saying I'm sorry.

The "pre-exploitation feeling" is a reference to Wild Hogs, the movie.
-
@talltail We've got 'gators, now!
-
@mrn4rmn4rm You saw the movie and its subsequent ratings. What do you think? I think that it is grand, and that episode where Fluttershy was prodded into a professional production was also grand. After get that pre-exploitation feeling on stage, it goes away, but stage-freight never goes away. How does ol' George do it? I would be afraid to be in the same room as he with his abilities with that stare that he's got.
-
@kotakotsu My out of context blurb was out of context. What I meant was that that feeling of deja-vu is easily triggered by making ones hair on ones mane stand on end.
-
@kotakotsu "Do you feel that sting? That's your pride muffin-cooking with ya." (from Pulp Fiction, the movie, the cult-classic)
-
@qwerty I don't know if this helps, but Hossenfeifer, literally peppered rabbit, really doesn't have any rabbit in it. Bugs Bunny is my hero and my teacher.
-
Look at George Clooney in Oh! Brother, Where Are Thou? The movie hits on so many levels, but it is all just him delivering a bunch of himself, too.
-
@mrn4rmn4rm Yep. Cult classics to be more specific.
-
@mrn4rmn4rm Da Magics! You cannot insert too much into a presentation. Look at Natural Born Killers and the Princess Bride.
-
@mrn4rmn4rm @commodorecrazycommanderofthe1stroyalbrigadeofspiceracksandcheese It is funny that you have to ask if a dramatic reading is okay for a bunch of writers and editors that play with ponies.
-
@commodorecrazycommanderofthe1stroyalbrigadeofspiceracksandcheese @koen Vanilla GIMPs are good. I love your handles, by the way.

Messin' around in the chat game, ponies think I'm soft, 'cause now, I'm in the prap game. Man, I don't hang-out as much. I bang-out dope cuts, and when I'm on the stage, I'm shakin' my butts, but when it comes to gettin' in a circle+, I'm hittin' sevens turnin' broke dragons purple. I'm lookin' fo' li'l @Joe wit' the dough, girl scream and choke, when deux-deux hits the flow. Yo. Now, which o'y'all wanna fade a twenty. I'm turnin' your fat purses empty. Oh yeah, I'm shakin' that ivory, and... Boom! It's like they die for me. Fool, you can get loud; get mad; hit the joint, but don't forget my point; there it is. Yo. I put my Nikes on the bet so it won't slide. Your money's gone 'cause I'm never hittin' deux-five. Never hittin' fo'-tres, no way. You wanna leave, but come-on ho', stay. A three, but that'll work. Momma need brand-new shoes and a sweat-shirt. Fool! You can't even muffin-cook with that, and now that I'm winnin', I gots to get my gat, 'cause I see homies startin' t #PinkieRap

@mrdragon good point. I have some paperwork to do and will be back in a bit. Remember kids pipes are for fluids. youtube.com/watch?v=_cZC67wXUTs

@mrdragon angst of the 7 year old, the 14 year old, the 21 year old, the 28 year old, retrospectively from the 35 year old.

@mrdragon Gummy zips his pants and exits stage left.

@lilytheamazingfaintingpony Quit applesing if you have a gf. Start again if you are alone. Using marijuana is similar. You get into a different mindset and can go so many more places if not incumbered with trying to stay in phase with another sentient creature. Pot costs money, but if you just have a smoke for breakfast, handle your business, retire with friends in the evening... Eating Twinkies and drinking pop or beer is not bad if it is only you and your internet and the sunshine, but health problems can begin to accrue if you try to run with the big dogs IRL. Porn is handled through posting favorites somewhere and eventually desensitizing yourself to them. There is nothing wrong with looking at pictures or watching commercial advertisements interspersed with clips of what passes for popular entertainment these days, but make sure to enjoy the sun and the moon, too.
-
@lilytheamazingfaintingpony The cake is a lie. The interwebs were built by people just like the one you described but only a few years older. At around 35, a man has grown to discover that labels are used to pin things down, and had you known then what you know now, nary a single virgin would remain. The internet was made for porn. After we nuked Japan, all of the people on each side of the water were in the same boat, so they began exporting things that we have decided to legitimately deny ourselves. We have /b/ and girls that look like they are less than 18, but it really doesn't matter, because it is only pictures and words and no sticks and stones. Many people that play with electronics all of the time are disproportionately out of shape for strenuous athleticism, but many are on the other end of the spectrum, too. The thing that we have in common is that instant access to information and to other real people really going through the same stuff.
