Getting really irritated with my phone's charger, got it plugged into the micro USB port and it only seems to take in charge in small bursts, when and if it feels like it :S !techponies

Our main internet connection has conked it...AGAIN! That's another £2 added to my Virgin Mobile internet bill, it's that much a day until the 13th of next month. I'm ringing them up tomorrow to complain, because this is unnacceptable, it dies at least once or twice every day as of late, for several hours at a time. !techponies
-
@leonkfox Hell they wouldn't see the end of me if that happened to me. I'd be so murdocked. Just thinking about it is making me doleed, give em hell for me please. xD
-
@minti I wish I could, but at best I can usually express my displeasure via a long winded rant. ^^;
-
@leonkfox Hell = long winded rant basically, at this point. Sadly. :P

-
Oh for GOD'S SAKES, our internet has been cut off AGAIN! Why must my mother insist on staying with Virgin? >< !techponies
-
Google Chrome isn't loading any web pages at the moment, even though the internet is still working #FirstWorldPains !techponies
-
Or not, looks like the Wi-Fi is now working...thank Celestia for it too. !techponies
-

-
@pinhooves Just a bit, yes!

Gonna use my "3" 3G USB Dongle so I can browse the web on my PC for a bit, sick of having to use this phone all the time. Been quite a long time since I last used this, heh. !techponies
-
Our regular internet still refuses to work. God damn it Virgin, this mobile internet is going to cost me £2 or so a day until February 13th! >< !techponies
-
@leonkfox Welcome to the boat. Would you like a paddle.
-
-
Just got a call from htc to see if I'm happy with the repairs etc, only turns out my warranty lasts until Feb 2013! Pleasant surprise :D !androidbronies !techponies

Wi-Fi stopped working so I had to start using my Virgin Media Mobile Internet again. It's £2 or so a day until February 13th, which is when my allowance is topped up next. I can see this being quite a big bill to pay x.x (Some "Unlimited" contract, makes me wish I were with 3) !techponies

My phone has started doing the whole thing with only the capacitive touch buttons lighting up again..it's already been fixed...#IHaveNoWords !techponies !androidbronies

Does anyone think they might be able to help me out with some problems I'm having with my new wifi printer? I've been through Google and a couple of the official diagnostics utilities but I feel like I'm just caught in a vicious circle. !techponies

@ecmc1093 Step One: Turn off the printer. Step Two: Disconnect your printer safely from its power source. Step Three: Pick up the printer. Step Four: Ascend to the highest point of your building. Bring the printer. Step Five: Throw printer off of building.
-
@ecmc1093 >using wifi printers...........
-
@ceruleanspark Now your printouts will look spectacularrrr.

God I hate having to use my internet so sparingly on my phone x.x #FirstWorldPains *needs that GiffGaff sim* !techponies

!Techponies AWS's EC2 is pretty fun. I'm just fiddling with a microinstance now. I could host ECH on here, given how few resources it actually needs to run. I've already configured the Virtualhosts in Apache, so next I need to move the statusnet files and posts database over to the new sever. Hopefully by the time that's done, my domain will have finished transferring and I can add the CNAME.
-
Called my mother to ask if she can bring over my GiffGaff SIM Card tomorrow, it'll be better for 3G than this Virgin sim is, I'm told. !techponies
-
Sorry if I don't post much for most of today, using what little internet I have left sparingly x.x !techponies
-
Just found out I only have 32mb of internet left on my mobile allowance for the month, and there's no wifi connection at my nan's...kiwi x_x I can still get connected when it runs out, but suffice to say it isn't very economically friendly. And to think it's marketed as being "Unlimited" !techponies
-
@leonkfox Heinous. Virgin in the States is really unlimited, AFAIK.
-
@ceruleanspark I'm with Virgin Mobile, myself.
-
@scribus Well it isn't here, that's for sure x___x

!techponies Maybe someone here can help. Is it possible for me to print a PowerPoint document WITH THE FOOTNOTES from the WebApp? I don't have PowerPoint on my laptop and it's currently the only computer connected to my new printer. I've been Googling this and can't find anything.

My Wi-Fi has stopped working all of a sudden, and I have to use my 3G/Mobile Internet to get online. #FirstWorldPains (Seem to be having quite a few of those round about now) !techponies

Think I'm gonna take my 120GB 360 Hard Drive apart and put it into my Slim 360, just need to look up what size screwdriver I'm going to need. !vgp !techponies

@purplephish20 Nice ^^ Did you have to pay any extra for it at all?
-
@leonkfox It's an overall better laptop, cost an extra 30 quid
-
@purplephish20 Fair enough :)

I was thinking about getting a Samsung Galaxy Nexus instead of a Galaxy SII, but I just discovered the Galaxy Nexus has no Micro SD slot :/ I have a 32gb Micro SD Card, so this is a pretty big deal to me, not being able to have that kind of space without spending £600...yeah. The 32gb one is £600 or more, and when I already have a 32gb Micro SD Card I SHOULD be able to use it takes the ...um...cake. !techponies !androidbronies

Got back from my nan's, pleased to see that my spare USB keyboard arrived :) It's actually an official Microsoft one and it's nicer than the primary one I use on my PC, will have to swap them sometime. I ordered the spare one so I could have a keyboard for my 360/PS3 and PC at the same time !techponies

Alright guys, if you were getting a top of the range Android phone, would you get the Samsung Galaxy SII or the Galaxy Nexus? !androidbronies !techponies
-
I do hope it isn't just a temporary victory though. Also, don't know whether to wait for the next Samsung flagship device before upgrading. !androidbronies !techponies
-
The phone's speakers seem to have started working again...thank god. !androidbronies !techponies
-
Seriously, screw htc. The sooner I can upgrade to a Samsung Galaxy SII the better. This is the THIRD time I've had a major fault. >< !androidbronies !techponies
-
...Okay what the hell? I've just noticed that there's no sound coming out of my Desire Z without the use of headphones, it didn't do this before I sent it off to be fixed a second time. >< Problem after problem....I can't sell it like this! What good is a phone without a bloody speaker?! !androidbronies !techponies
-
Mum has told my nan that my phone (htc Desire Z) is back from htc o.O That was alarmingly quick for a repair! (in my experience) !techponies !androidbronies
