@hakupony Tough question. Almost everyone will tell you that you can ignore the old episodes (everything before 2005). But even the first season of the new ones is pretty corny. I think the first episode with Matt Smith in 2010 provides a pretty good entry point (Season 5, Episode 1 "The Eleventh Hour"). But then you miss my one of my favorite doctors (David Tennant) so if you enjoy it, go back and watch starting at 2005.

@mrconventrix You are talking about "downloading". If you listen to a song on YouTube, you are downloading a copy you have not bought yourself. The location this data is saved his no effect on what kind of data it is. Also, most illegal downloads aren't in the format you use for purchasing items either. (Most illegal downloads use .mp3, but legal downloads from iTunes are .m4a, and songs on a CD are .wav). And no, your point does not stand, because you are not TAKING any money from them. If I come to your house and make a copy of your driver's license you can consider me rude for doing that, but I haven't stolen anything because you still have the original thing.
