@xrevan86 I think the "if you use GPL code you need to license your own code GPL" is a bit much, though :x
-
@xrevan86 runet?
-
@xrevan86 heh :)
-
@xrevan86 Google Play.
-
@xrevan86 I'm already using DuckDuckGo. The search engine is not the problem, it's just the services that keep resetting themselves to Dutch that are and it's starting to really annoy me. Google, you're not smarter than your user. At least, I know what I want and if I tell you I want my things in English, I want it in English. It shouldn't be that hard to understand...

@moonlagoon @noirbatch @mushi @omni @xrevan86 Hi guys <3
-
@xrevan86 I suppose everyone has its own idea of what expecting of a DE
-
@xrevan86 That would be surprising concerning bugs. And features is not DE's task, but other program's
-
@xrevan86 There are bugs in both xfce and MATE (gnome) :)
-
@xrevan86 That's true, didn't see things like that. But what does gnome2 has better than xfce now?
-
OK, I will go for Debian Testing with LMDE repository and see how it will work :)
-
Juts out of curiosity, why not use #XFCE?
-
Without breakages? I need to try that in #VirtualBox ASAP :D These days I would go for #XFCE, #MATE looks like a zombie... :)
-
How well does it work?What about breakages and such?I'm thinking about DebianCUT but some say that apt-get can't handle rolling release well
-
@xrevan86 I've tried it, Cinnamon isn't my style =/
-
@xrevan86 Haven't tried it. But I hear it's a fork of Gnome 2.
-
exactly :D With whiskey, of cource
-
@xrevan86 I only now noticed how a lot of Mozilla product are named using an "element + animal" structure. Oh wow, that took me forever.
-
GDM already removed from my system :) due to slowness on my old celeron 1.7ghz laptop
-
I don't want GTK3 apps at this moment. I want mate with shutdown. LightDM is not an option now.
-
@xrevan86 That sounds pretty cool, would you mind telling me when they show the version of the OS they're going to ship?
-
@xrevan86 Open phone based on MeeGo? Is there any more info available? It sounds quite interesting...
-
gtk3? NOWAI! I want gtk2 :)
-
Thanks :)
-
@xrevan86 Seems to not do that, but still give me a much lower number ("only" 1376)
-
@xrevan86 That seems to group packages together (for example, the complete MATE desktop gets grouped as "mate-desktop-environment" even though they are a lot of programs).
-
@xrevan86 Well, I GUESS we could switch from IRC to XMPP, but I really like the extremely low bandwidth needs of IRC and the lack of registration requirements. Then again, I guess XMPP has that as well...
