  1. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony Quit applesing if you have a gf. Start again if you are alone. Using marijuana is similar. You get into a different mindset and can go so many more places if not incumbered with trying to stay in phase with another sentient creature. Pot costs money, but if you just have a smoke for breakfast, handle your business, retire with friends in the evening... Eating Twinkies and drinking pop or beer is not bad if it is only you and your internet and the sunshine, but health problems can begin to accrue if you try to run with the big dogs IRL. Porn is handled through posting favorites somewhere and eventually desensitizing yourself to them. There is nothing wrong with looking at pictures or watching commercial advertisements interspersed with clips of what passes for popular entertainment these days, but make sure to enjoy the sun and the moon, too.

  3. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony The cake is a lie. The interwebs were built by people just like the one you described but only a few years older. At around 35, a man has grown to discover that labels are used to pin things down, and had you known then what you know now, nary a single virgin would remain. The internet was made for porn. After we nuked Japan, all of the people on each side of the water were in the same boat, so they began exporting things that we have decided to legitimately deny ourselves. We have /b/ and girls that look like they are less than 18, but it really doesn't matter, because it is only pictures and words and no sticks and stones. Many people that play with electronics all of the time are disproportionately out of shape for strenuous athleticism, but many are on the other end of the spectrum, too. The thing that we have in common is that instant access to information and to other real people really going through the same stuff.

  4. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony i was like that for ages -.- i'm 15, after a good friends father lost his life, i clicked and thought that life's not worth wasting... nowdays i've gotten into trying like 100% with everything, and even joined the gym xD ...remember, life is never worth wasting on nothing, live your dreams to the fullest, even if you lack the willpower, surpass your state of mind and become better than that.

  11. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony I do not doubt that there are many cute little rodents where that one came from. It is unfortunate that bunny rabbits don't fly as well as squirrels when used as golf balls, but maybe that is part of their design.

  13. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony @koen Yeah. Is the gender swapping of the male character of the TV series or whatever? Keanu Reeves is Angel, a sensitive though strong and mysterious... (changes channel, watches ponies and Buffy)

  17. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony You do get a very wide choice of handsets with Android though, especially when compared to iOS and the now defunct Web OS

  19. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony Android handsets are very varied and open platform, but yeah, it seems Android and iOS will dominate the market eventually.

  21. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony You can do a lot if you're motivated, but a lot of people aren't. My HS had 7 periods a day plus lunch, and the minimum graduation requirements were only about 20 credits. Only reason it took my for years was the English credit, that was my only mandatory class as a senior.

  22. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony I'm studying to be an engineer pony, so I got a pretty good dose of chemistry. As for the US demanding you try a bit of everything, it's not as true as it seems. Math and English are the only two subjects you have to take all four years, and our arts and languages programs are cut about every time the budget changes. The actual base requirements for a diploma seem a bit low.

  24. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony At my old high school the biggest demos were at the end of the year; what they called the "Senior sendoff". A full period of smoke, fire, and loud music.

  26. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony that's very interesting. Norway has taken the whole "They all look the same" thing to another level. the reason that "they all look alike" phenomenon happens is because when you are around a group of people a lot, you pick out things that make them different. for different groups of people, those discerning features are different. I didn't know it could be localized to a country.

  30. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony Hey, if you have time, write out a description ahead of time, and fill it out to at least to pages with double space, supersized font, and scare your group that you'll keep describing for an hour. I mean...if you like.
