Really wish I could have made it to the !midlandsbronies meet up yesterday, but I really hope everyone that went had a great time! I really hope I can make the next one as I loved the very first Birmingham meet up!

@extremelyextreme Hah, I went to the Ipswich one on Wednesday last week. They had Twilight's Balloon, Twilight and Fluttershy fashion ponies, and a LOT of the old ones (ugh). The best thing they had was Cheerliee's Schoolhouse, which I have asked for Hearth's Warming like a BAWS.

!midlands Well I just had the worse day imaginable, caught the train to Birmingham but I couldn't find the meetup spot, when I did it was 12:15 and everyone had left, I tried ringing but I couldn't get a hold of Sean, so I waited for a little bit, wandered around to see if I could spot anyone, and at about 2 I just gave up and left. Was really looking forward to this meetup but everything that could go wrong did. Sorry guys :(

!midlands So do we have any idea how many are attending? New Street Concourse at 12:00 for those who are, we'll wait until a quarter past then on with the festivities. As things seem to be going, look for someone in a purple t-shirt, a turquoise jacket and a hat. @rotation Which, since no-one drives, will get you nothing but wasted fuel. Clearly, you are not ready for survival in today's harsh reality. Good thing I hope to make it to the meetup in January, so I can say a proper goodbye before the snow apocalypse comes and the wolves move in to prey on the weak.

We are now slightly more than two weeks away from the !midlands meetup, so if we can have some feedback of who is and isn't coming, and then that would be great. Also, it would be good if we could organise meeting times and places, what we're going to do and the like.

@bronymike !vancouverbronies To play devil's advocate here, December's a busy month for a lot of people (myself included) so a late-November meetup might actually net more attendees. I think monthly meetups are a good plan in general, but also would be perfectly happy with more small "I'm doing X, who wants to join me"-level stuff in between.

!midlandsbronies I'm sorry I cannot make it to the Christmas Meetup in Birmingham. On December 17th I'll be with my orchestra, playing the Christmas Family Concert (see http://www.sheffieldphilharmonic.org.uk/performances). Unless all you ponies decide to have two Meetups in Sheffield this year ;-)
