  2. @narwhal This is also what you have to do if you choose Charmander in the original Red or Blue, but this is not the case in Fire Red and Leaf Green as Charmander learns Metal Claw at level 13 in Gen 3.

  3. @scribus You pretty much have to find, catch, and grind a Mankey (so it can learn Low Kick) before Pewter so you can stand any chance against Brock's Onix, since Pikachu is useless against it and your only other options at that point in the game are Flying and Bug types.

  4. @scribus Also Brock in Pokemon Yellow is just ridiculous

  5. @colfax You. I like you.

  7. What's the draw of visual art? It seems kinda sketchy to me.

  8. @rarity I used to draw daily back in senior year of high school, these days I just sketch intermittently

  11. @tiffany I'll break your leg kiddo

Friday, 15-Apr-16 16:19:13 UTC from MuSTArDroid in context
  12. @tiffany hope your foot gets better~

Friday, 15-Apr-16 16:17:37 UTC from MuSTArDroid in context
  13. @tiffany Don't take me my word for it as I'm not a medical professional or anything, but it sounds like it could be muscle strain. Resting it should help, though also soaking it in warm water could help if you're up for that.

Friday, 15-Apr-16 16:12:35 UTC from MuSTArDroid in context
  14. @tiffany There are multiple reasons why this could be occurring, but I can't really think of what could cause it just from knowing your foot is sore. Is it just sore, or is there swelling and/or redness?

  15. @razzleberry I assumed so when you changed your profile pic to Envy. And hey, it's a good kick to be on! It's been a while since I last watched it but I remember really liking it when I did watch it. I should revisit it sometime.

  16. @nerthos Without disclosing more than I probably should, they inadvertently poisoned their body and had to go to the ER.

  17. @ceruleanspark Thanks for taking care of us~

Friday, 15-Apr-16 06:16:16 UTC from MuSTArDroid in context
  18. @ceruleanspark This is what I'm thinking too. I'll be up a bit longer anyway, but I assume they'll update us again tomorrow morning.

Friday, 15-Apr-16 06:15:39 UTC from MuSTArDroid in context
  19. @ceruleanspark I missed most of what happened, so I can't say for sure if they're okay. My guess is they're asleep right now or don't have immediate access to their phone or internet, but that's me hoping for the best. I haven't been able to reach them.

  20. @colfax Ha, this sounds hilarious. Well done.

  21. @cawlliflower Yeah, there's a particular ritualistic way to view the film

  22. @cawlliflower Ever been to Rocky Horror?

Thursday, 14-Apr-16 20:35:27 UTC from web in context
  23. @cawlliflower I've never had the pleasure (misfortune?) of going to a showing myself, but I've read about them

Thursday, 14-Apr-16 20:34:32 UTC from web in context
  24. @cawlliflower I believe for some screenings it is. Whenever the characters throw a football onscreen you'd pass a football in the theatre to one of your friends.

Thursday, 14-Apr-16 20:32:15 UTC from web in context
  25. @cawlliflower Or footballs for that matter

  26. @cawlliflower Tangentially related, I'm interesting in seeing The Disaster Artist when it comes out. Though I'll likely buy the book and just read that too.

  27. The silver lining is if GitS ends up flopping there will be much less incentive to adapt and whitewash foreign media in the future

  28. @colfax See, that's why I'm hesitant about making the Pacific Rim!Evangelion comparison.

Thursday, 14-Apr-16 20:15:27 UTC from web in context
  29. @scribus I really liked Pacific Rim, but I feel it owes more to Gundam and to mecha as a broader storytelling vehicle than it does to NGE.

Thursday, 14-Apr-16 20:12:36 UTC from web in context
  30. @cawlliflower Right? We already have what's effectively a live action GitS that was handled by two much more capable directors for the film's genre (or at least for the first Matrix anyway).
