@scoot How long does the final animation have to be?
-
Haha classic
-
@critialcloudkicker Competing with Mushi in a "Who's Liked More?" contest seems like a lost cause for me, but thanks for the compliment on my avatar!
-
@l1ghtsword Thankfully RDN's staff isn't corrupt!
-
@critialcloudkicker Yup, him and I became mods at the same time
-
@l1ghtsword That principle being we're here to enforce the rules and keep the site in order. No one's judgement is absolute, though the moderation staff here all have the site's best interests in mind.
-
@l1ghtsword It's the same principle, actually
-
Friendly reminder: Dialogue between users and mods is important, but if a mod tells you that you need to tag something, or that it's inappropriate for the site, for your own sake don't argue with them on it. You won't win nor will it help your cause.
-
@scoot How much time do you have to finish it?
-
@thelastgherkin Yes, it's an anime dating sim disguised as a tactical RPG
-
@l1ghtsword That's what everyone says about every New Popular Thing
-
@scoot Yeah, the walk animation itself looks fine to me (though I imagine getting it to work with the flat motif must've been challenging initially). Keep up the good work!
-
@scoot Ah, that's understandable. In which case, the only critique I can think of at the moment would be that it would probably make more visual sense if this shot http://i.imgur.com/UBAZeAC.png had some kind of signifier of the main character in the house, so when you cut to this shot afterwards http://i.imgur.com/YgzQlJW.png the viewer isn't wondering where they came from.
-
@scoot Ignoring the stuff you mentioned in your post, one thing that stood out to me was how everything was stylistically flat (I mean this in the literal sense, not figurative) except for the bucket, where there was some depth to it. Is that significant, or just a coincidence?

@tiffany NO STOP
-
@tiffany IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN
-
I will never get Spring Sun Winter Dread out of my head, I can only push it to the back of my mind for extended periods of time before I remember how ridiculously catchy it is
-
@tiffany It's honestly probably still my favourite off of Get to Heaven
-
@tiffany Listening to it for the first time I knew I was in for something special with Get to Heaven
-
@tiffany I loved lots of the urban motifs Colosseum utilized in its visual design. Pyrite Town being a sort of dilapidated city of thieves was a particular standout.
-
One of my favourite parts of X/Y was the character customization, it added a great layer of visual diversity to the game
-
@tiffany I'd love another console Pokemon adventure like Colosseum or XD, the snag mechanic and regular double battles was a breath of fresh air
-
@tiffany I'm kind of the same at this point, I'm seeing more innovation and ideas in the spinoffs. I'll likely still get Sun/Moon and enjoy it, but that's more of a matter of being committed to the series.
-
@mushi Damn, sorry to hear that
-
Actually Have You In My Wilderness was an excellent pop record too, though it sits more on the baroque side of pop as opposed to the art pop of EE and Clarence Clarity
-
Really great album, probably my favourite pop record from last year unless you count that Clarence Clarity record as pop
-
Americans: Get to Heaven is now available in the US! Listen to it and love yourself
-
Speaking of Bravely Default, the sequel to that is coming out later this year. I think my brother said he was gonna get it though, so I may just borrow it from him when he's done with it.
-
@mushi I've been holding back on my games spending too, I saved up for a while to get my 3DS back in 2013 for Pokemon X and Y and it's been a great investment for the most part, but only if you can afford it. I've put tons of time into mine, and the new Fire Emblem is already starting to absorb a majority of my current free time.
-
@ndogmario I'm very out of shape! Oh you meant regularly visiting this site? Dunno, a few I guess. I'd say I'm active here.
