  1. @mushi I'm glad I'll be getting good use out of my 3DS this year, last year I basically just used mine for Smash whenever I couldn't play it on the Wii U

  2. @mushi Ah yeah, I assumed as much honestly. The main series Pokemon games have pretty much always been on handheld, so I'd be more surprised if they weren't on the 3DS.

  3. @mushi What is for 3DS?

  5. @scoot I personally prefer the really heavily Eastern inspired designs of Birthright's characters, so I started with it.

  6. One thing I'm really enjoying about Fates is how Archer friendly it is, as that class has really gotten the short straw in basically every Fire Emblem game I've played prior.

  7. @scoot Oh sweet, those were both great games. If you liked Awakening you'll for sure like Fates too, personally I think I may already prefer Fates despite loving Awakening. If you want Hana make sure to get Birthright as she's a unit in the Hoshido story.

  8. @scoot I've been playing Birthright since around the time it came out and I've been loving it so far. It's great if you're new to to the series or if you're a longtime fan too, so it's all kinds of accessible. Hana is definitely one of my favourite units too, she's really cute and actually makes for a great Swordmaster with her offensive capabilities too.

  10. @scoot I'm glad I could help, even in some small way.

  11. @scoot This is really adorable, I love it!

  12. @scoot It's okay, I can understand the busyness and don't at all hold it against you for not being here often. I am glad to see you whenever you're around though, I have lots of respect for you as a person and love your art. It's troubling to hear you're going through so many troubles, and I want you to know it's not your fault. Depression just sucks the motivation right out of you, and anxiety doesn't help work ethic at all. I know the despondency and exhaustion, and college has made me really in tune with my own powerlessness lots of the time. I spend lots of my time at mine too, which has led to lots of stress. I guess I'm probably not helping too much, but I guess what I'm trying to say is I understand all too well, and hope for the best for you cause you deserve it.

  13. @scoot Hey Scoot, it's always great to see you here but I'm also sad to hear about how you're doing, especially because I can relate to where you're coming from. I've been having anxiety issues while working since semester 1 and there are several courses where my chance of passing is in jeopardy, so things could probably be going better. But at least it's Friday, right?

  15. @tiffany I've come to the realization that I'm going to fall out of touch with lots of people I used to pretty regularly talk to, but I'm thankful for the small handful of friends I try to keep in touch with.

  16. @tiffany Yeah, I went out of my way to give everyone a unique message in my final year, and ended up writing way more than usual for my close friends.

Friday, 26-Feb-16 00:15:53 UTC from web in context
  17. @tiffany I tried to really personalize every message in my final year because in the prior years I'd feel kinda bad if someone left me a really unique and heartfelt message and I just wrote something like "It was fun knowing you, have a great summer!"

  19. @tiffany I used it as my yearbook quotation in my senior year of high school. I was constantly thinking about saying something funny for it but nothing really clicked, and I felt that quotation just summed up my basic life philosophy really well. It still does, and I still value Kino's Journey a lot as a piece of media that's had a tremendous impact on me.

  21. @tiffany If I had to pick one, it'd probably still be the tagline from Kino's Journey: "The world is not beautiful, therefore it is." I pretty much live by that one.

  22. @tiffany I dunno if I'd agree with that, but I appreciate the sentiment

  23. @tiffany I'm getting used to it

  24. @tiffany I still have this fear, though it seems lately people I know online and offline have been a lot more forward about the fact that they don't like me... which is a good thing, I guess? Weight off my shoulders, anyway.

  25. @scribus Life can be a real vicious cycle, eh? I can relate to where you're coming from. There are always stray responsibilities that haven't been met, and addressing the needs of the present from decisions in the past leads to uncertainty of the future, which makes for a big crazy mess. You tell yourself you wanna get stuff done that you said you were gonna get done yesterday, and then you feel too awful about yourself to get work done today. And it doesn't get easier, and none of us are getting any younger, so it's easy to feel like were just aimlessly drifting forward every day. I can't guarantee it'll ever get better at some point, but don't give up hope. You got this, okay? http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/833625

  26. @tiffany I've cooled on their later stuff compared to their early work, but I'll likely listen to it

  30. @tiffany I mean, a lot of its best moments were when it was establishing a communal space among the survivors and developing the Island itself as a character.
