@scribus Gen 5 is when I gave up on Pokemon for a while. Just got tired of the grinding and how many eggs I had to hatch to stay competitive with my friends.

@tonyyotes @scribus due to my work, pokemon does not really go out of sytle, ever ( neither do cartoons, if I am lucky they involve colourfull equines, yay.flac ). But due to the nature of most autists I would be either WAY under- or over-"grinded". And due to the gamesindustry now releasing games in a record pace, I did not even need to finish pre-grind (up till elite 4) of "X" nor "Omega Ruby". Such a waste, almost makes me sad. Then I found out that one of my clients was cheating his butt off. Now that kinda did me in. " What is your favorite pokemon ?" He asked. And next day he would give me one... And then he'd kick my 1^8 IP dreamteam with his 32^8 IP beedrill attack squad. *rolleyes*

@tonyyotes I hadn't played since Silver, then X dragged me back in, so I tried White and now I kinda fell out again. I could do with more meatspace friends who play, really.

I was looking through my folder of old MMF projects and found a game that some of you guys might possibly enjoy. This is from around 2010, and IIRC it was made for some competition where we had to restrict the game to certain graphical limitations. It's got three levels and a boss, and (although I denied it when I made it) it's actually really hard. I think I spent an hour beating it just now, and that's considering I still remembered all the tricks to getting through it. http://pny.lv/huj9

So after waiting many years for a certain portable to bring enough meal at a McDonalds price I finally own a PSP! Has some alright side loaded pony themes (though the best looking is if I modded said new device). @tiffany Not bad. Close to what I can do right now. I'm about to go pick up a touch screen pen thing for my tablet to start drawing on it soon. If you can give any tips that would be nice. My areas that need improvement are the hands and overall drawing ponies, although I am good at drawing the head, I can never get the body the right length and the back legs are always crappy. I'm more of a writer but I see a little potential in drawing and I want to be able to make my own cover art.

@scribus What's actually interesting about FFVI is that holistically it doesn't have a single main protagonist, and Terra is only really the center of the narrative for the first half while the second half devotes more focus to Celes.

@northernnarwhal There's a lot that's interesting about FFVI, but yeah, the strength of pretty much every character but Umaro is high up on the list. :p

@scribus It's definitely my favourite Final Fantasy game, if solely because I felt it has the strongest writing and characters the series has seen. Not that I dislike the overt worldbuilding narratives of later games, but I felt the more non-linear and character driven narrative of FFVI to be all the more compelling.

@mushi I must admit it would of been better suited for a console or held in the works till the 3DS. It's lack of features compared to the prequel on PS2 is hard to get used too. Actually, I think I just miss the full motion of a thumb stick the most. ^.^;
