@hakui Gonna spend a couple of hours on Mikakunin and sorting pictures. I came to a conclusion, that if I won’t sort pictures after watching every episode, I won’t sort them ever. And I’m already behind on like two eps.

@maiya hi, i've been thinking about this issue for a bit lately and would like to propose the idea of opening up borders again
having used FZP for a year now i can say that there's little to no loli material being posted. there was a wave of lgbtpzn users in december, but they have mostly left to start their own instance after they were told that 3d won't be tolerated. those that have stayed seemed to not want to toe the line either and i haven't seen 2d from them for a long time either
hence, i think we're now at a point where it's reasonable to block individual offending users from your instance as they appear, instead of the whole instance. i know my admins will probably never see eye to eye with you, but i'm hoping we can put it aside, at least on the instance level

The evidence is before the corporate interests made copyright over 9000 years. Disney is great evidence that it leads to explosion of creativity. Public Domain works fueled the companies wallets, but also their creative side. If the law wasn't insane, with around 5 years copyright, Disney could have profited off of releases and then after a cycle others could as well.
There's also nothing wrong with profiting from creativity. Forever long copyright is harmful, but 0 is ridiculous.
This whole model of having 0 protections on cultural works would mean that no one could realistically be anything other than a producer of goods, food, or services. -

he's an okay person with some accomplishments, but his amygdala is just too shrunken for him to function normally most days -
@kitredgrave @moonman Every programmer occasionally, when nobody's home, turns off the lights, pours a glass of scotch, puts on some light German electronica, and opens up a file on their computer. It's a different file for every programmer. Sometimes they wrote it, sometimes they found it and knew they had to save it. They read over the lines, and weep at their beauty, then the tears turn bitter as they remember the rest of the files and the inevitable collapse of all that is good and true in the world.
This file is Good Code. It has sensible and consistent names for functions and variables. It's concise. It doesn't do anything obviously stupid. It has never had to live in the wild, or answer to a sales team. It does exactly one, mundane, specific thing, and it does it well. It was written by a single person, and never touched by another. It reads like poetry written by someone over thirty. -

All the people that unfollowed me in the past 2 years have all seemed to show up on mastodon.
