well, my japanese test got delayed because of the chaotic state of the country :v

@scribus well, it all began when every single leader this country has had decided to not build any railways here, which made the whole country depended on trucks. Then they recently decided to increase a lot the price of the diesel oil out of nowhere, then the truck drives started a strike and that pretty much broke the country. Now the markets are running out of food, the pharmacies are running out of medicines, airports are canceling lots of their flights because they do have fuel to the airplanes and the Gas price pretty much doubled in a week in some places

@scribus we're fine so far, but we are stuck in this tinny city we live because we dont have gas or buses to leave :v
But if everything keeps on like that we might start having problems

For the people who care about federation (Probably just @nerthos and @awl) I have no idea why it isn’t working. This is actually a new server, at a new hosting provider and a functionally fresh install of RDN’s version of statusnet. So unless DigitalOcean, Cloudflare, or the other instances themselves are blocking us (or them), there’s no particular reason why it *shouldn’t* work.

@schulle4u die Yahoo-Mail-App ist sowieso bedenklich. Die App erweckt den Eindruck, man könne sie auch für Nicht-Yahoo-Mailaccounts verwenden. Eine Bekannte der Yahoo-App die Zugangsdaten für ihren GMail-Account gegeben – hat auch "funktioniert". Aber ab da konnte sie auch am PC am Yahoo-Webmailer ihre GMail-Mails lesen. Man kann also folgern, dass die Yahoo-App die GMail-Zugangsdaten an Yahoo übermittelt haben muss. !privacy

@mcscx2 Kann ich bestätigen. Ich wurde sogar mal von Gmail über einen fehlgeschlagenen Login-Versuch benachrichtigt, bei dem sich dann herausstelte, dass Yahoo versucht hat, sich mit meinem bei Yahoo genutzten Passwort auch bei Gmail anzumelden, um Adressbücher beider Konten abzugleichen. Da ich unterschiedliche PWs verwende, hat das natürlich nicht geklappt. Hatte die Gmail-Adresse lediglich als Wiederherstellungsoption in Yahoo eingetragen.

@scribus They’re the end result of a 40 year campaign by what is essentially state run media (or to be more accurate, a media run state) to overturn the previous referendum we had on joining the EU in the first place. Turns out it’s really easy to gaslight a populace when you spend decades ensuring they’ll never have the tools required to verify your claims.

@dublinstinkt war einfach wie üblich ein großes Party- und Saufereignis... Wobei dieses Jahr die völlige Dominanz von Smartphones noch dazu gekommen ist, die die Leute aus der Realität gelöst hat. Das könnte für den völligen Niedergang an revolutionären Tendenzen zumindest mitverantwortlich sein. Die gesamte Aufmerksamkeit nur noch auf whatsapp und instagram.

Mir ist das eingefallen, weil immer mal wieder dieser Kommentar z.B. an linke H$-Empfaenger*Innen kommt, wenn ihnen das System nicht passt, dann sollen sie halt auf H4 verzichten, aber das ist das einzig legale. Auf der Parkbank schlafen ist verboten, Obst vom Baum pfluecken ist verboten, Sachen im Supermarkt mitnehmen ist verboten, Huette im Wald bauen ist verboten, ein leeres Haus bewohnen ist verboten, einfach auf dem Land irgendwo Eigenanbau machen ist verboten... das hoert sich jetzt banal an, ist es auch und nix neues, aber irgendwie hab mich mir das noch nie so auf dem Level klargemacht.

Ich grüble allerdings über ein Crowdfunding nach. Sozusagen als Geburtstagsgeschenk vom Internet™. Dann könnte ich mir, wenn es mehr als die 75€ werden, sogar einen besseren Body leisten. Also, falls sich überhaupt jemand für meine Fotos interessiert und dafür, daß ich noch mehr machen kann. ;-)

This is on my mind a lot because:
1: As of June, I don't have an income any more. So I worry. Of course I worry.
2: I do a lot of "invisible" stuff. Translating. Editing. Proofreading. Sharing. Theatre. Performances. I just feel like all the work I do is worthless because it's invisible to my followers on the internet.- mcscx repeated this.

bei einer wahlbeteiligung von 45,4% nur 30,2% der stimmen. das bedeutet:
entweder #gera ist doch nicht so braun wie erwartet, oder dem faschismus fehlt einfach der mobilisierbare "volkskörper", oder das wetter war einfach mehr so badesee als wahllokal.- mcscx repeated this.
