This week alone, 4 dogs have been poisoned in a village near mine in Greece... and there is one that lives there, Danae, who I absolutely need to rescue from this danger. She is about 2 years old, fixed, ca 25kg, super friendly and playful.
If you know ANYONE who could either foster her or was hoping to adopt a dog: please, please get in touch with me!
I have to deal with a lot of heartbreak caring for Greek strays, but I cannot lose her. I cant take her myself, but will bring her to Germany/ Berlin.- mcscx repeated this.

There has been cardboard and sleeping bags stashed there for a long time. I went past the other day, They were asleep there. They had pulled a road sign up to block off the entrance. To make a door.
Today I went past and the place is cleared out. cleased.
I hope the person who lived there is OK.

I found a couple of 100-series Powerbooks in a box in my laundry room, need power adapters but probably wouldn't take much to get them going again. I kinda want to install NetBSD/mac68k on at least one of them...

@paulfree14 ein Post wird nur an Instanzen ausgeteilt wo der Schreiber Follower hat. Daher wurden bei GNUsocial Gruppen eingeführt. @qbi

@paulfree14 es bringt also besonders auf einer kleinen Instanz wenig, Hashtags zu folgen, da die Sender-Instanzen nichts davon wissen. @qbi

Let's do a little experiment. It's obviously biased by my relative participation in each, but I'm comparing the reach of twitter, facebook, Diaspora, pump, G+, and GNU Social (plus anything that can talk directly to it...that is not via NavierStokes).
Please like this if you see it. Obviously, if you want more people to like it, then you share it, but I'm only going to count likes.- Scribus likes this.

Diaspora: 15

Twitter: 0
What's interesting is that on Diaspora, pump, and GNU Social, I all got actual comments about how the study was being conducted. I got literally zero comments on twitter or G+. There's all sorts of bias in this, but I have more "friends" on facebook by an order of magnitude and significantly more on twitter than the free platforms. So, it seems like people join the proprietary networks and just don't use them very much.

So, i wachted yesterday on nickelodeon an Ad of a music group named "beetles for kids". As the beetles songs so family unfriendly that they need to have a version for kids?

@mushi No, I think it's more a matter of the Beatles being so kid-friendly that it's easy to make an adaptation. Also, licensing the rights to use Beatles songs is harder and more expensive than licensing the remake rights and then licensing the remake for use, so if you're already doing a cover you might as well special purpose it.
