http://www.bronychan.orgCurrently I'm a master's student at Purdue University, I can't tell you exactly what I study but it has to do with blowing things up (haha no really). I don't watch as much TV as I use to but I do have a handful of shows I make a point to watch such as Dr. Who(oves), The Big Bang Theory, and of course My Little Pony.
Avid Brony and active member of this great community! I'm currently running a website called bronychan, where our goal is to help people plan and promote real life brony events such as meet ups, live streams, etc... Our site, started mid October, is ever changing led by yours truly and my friend Entro.
Bronychan: Organizing a fandom one pony at a time.

@scribus true, most of the professor i work with wear them though they don't seem to be as popular with the students.
-
@rotation I think we already are talkin more tech :D
-
@ponydude2143 uhgg.. talk about a train wreck. I've never been a big fan of python, not that there is anything wrong with it. I just prefer other languages such as C++ and while not really a language on their own, MATLab and Mathmatica
-
@scribus sad fact: I do bwahaha my dad bought it for me as a joke and every now and then I wear it to the lab as a joke
-
daawww the tech debate seems to have died down.. Oh well I had fun *adjusts uber nerdy glasses*
-
@theonepony haha don't worry, I got it and it was clever :D

Back to the pad. I know that they have there uses, but for what they are, the are outrageously over priced and the iPad is by far the most guilty of this. Though that's just because apple can sell anything. If you break down the components of the average Apple product into just the the cost of materials and labor, you're looking at well over a 60% and almost 70% discount in price. I believe the iPod touch is made for about 50 ish (USD) and is currently sold for roughly $300

@lyokotravels yes, ponies are the perfect insomnia fule >~<

@ceruleanspark i don't know, I just can't justify having a separate device which only advantage is a larger screen. As for when I need to work, there's no way anything other than a high end lab top or solid desk top can handle it. So most of the time my mobile computing needs boil down to emails and reading fanfiction (a relatively new activity haha)
-
@ceruleanspark I'm doing great! Just finished up a report but I can't seem to force myself to sleep. I knew I shouldn't have had that cup of coffee...
-
@theonepony oh no, I like where this is going. I have the same debate with my friends on almost a weekly basis.
-
Hmm well not to but in on anything, but personally I've always seen the iPad as a kinda useless (for me anyway). In fact the only apple product I do like is the iPod. I've never actually got the whole pad thing in general, I use the crap out of my smart phone and it can do everything a pad can do plus fit in my pocket. As for what OS i run, I have a windows phone (mangoes are healthier than ice cream haha). I know i'm kinda jumpin in here, but i love a good tech debate

Yay~~ first post! How have I not had an account here already?.. Anyhooves, I'm NimbusBuster, nice to meet you! At the moment I'm working on a site called bronychan.org that functions as a community calendar for IRL events happening across the fandom. I scour the interwebs in seach of events and organize them for everypony to see.
