@conventrix Don't confuse poor acting with believability of context. The idea that characters are believably put in those situations often prevents specific audiences from connecting with the characters, their arc and motives etc. But don't discount said movies as a genre altogether. Example = The first Terminator movie, and John Carpenter's The Thing, both have great acting and the action is sweet.
