I am genuinely confused by my parents behaviour. They blatantly do not have any interest in my well being, but they insist on errecting this paper thin facade that they do. Why go to the effort of doing that? I accept that they are in no way obligated to care. I am an adult after all. Their duty of care is discharged at this point. I'm just puzzled and frustrated by their behaviour.
