@gameboy152 Seeing how you use iTunes, I will assume you're not using Linux, so I can't really help you with all this "installing codecs" stuff (Windows has a codec pack online, Mac OS X, no clue) but the hardest step is finding high-quality files. Bandcamp allows you to download stuff in FLAC or ALAC, which are lossless high-quality formats (FLAC does not work in iTunes, ALAC does). I download and rip my music as FLAC, but both FLAC and ALAC (and WAV) don't use any lossy compression so you won't lose any quality :P
