@toksyuryel Here's what I actually said, for the record: "I don't think anyone would disagree with the assertion that the days of the fandoms explosive growth are over. We're into the "long tail" now. The fandom is very dependant on the show for new material, so the lull between seasons will inevitably cause a drop in fandom output and a corresponding drop in new members. I'm fairly sure things will pick up as the Season 3 hype-train starts rolling. I remember in the gap between season 1 and 2, RDN had about 5 active members, and I personally knew 3 of them in real life. We're actually in a much better shape right now than we were then." As you can see, the words are the same, but absent their framing text, I am optimistic, rather than doom and gloom.
