    @ceruleanspark Actually it looks like they only own the name "Space Marine" in the fields of titles for gaming, books, and media. So one can certainly invent space marine characters, so long as they are never named as such. (The 70s Flash Gordon cartoon offers up "Aerial Navy" as an alternative.)
