  1. @elind85 Adobe's toolchain is easier to use. (although this has been reduced to a minor issue with the release of that Flash-to-HTML converter.) Flash supports webcams and microphones, renders on the sub-pixel level and is the same across all browsers and platforms. HTML5 gives none of that, and browser rendering incompatibilities often mean annoying hackarounds. Flash is also generally MUCH better optimized than HTML5 on most platforms. Mobile device tests on Android have shown Flash to run at least ten times as fast, and with lower CPU usage to boot. (thus less battery consumption, which is important!) The vast majority of web apps, games, video, and even enterprise development uses Flash in some way or another, because it runs everywhere and runs well. SEO-wise, Google can adequately index Flash sites and has been able to for years. Yahoo and Bing support Flash indexing as well.
