@beatstrings I too like the idea of what is explained as 'true capitalism' but I'm not sure as to how much justice it can give when it's supposedly lax and purposefully so. As she had stated (lead to believe these are quotes from Rand herself), the government only acts as a policeman to protect those rights against force in a retaliatory sense against those who enact it first. Also, my large qualm with it happens to be that man exists only for himself? As in, he doesn't sacrifice himself for the sake of others, nor sacrifice others for the sake of himself? That seems way too utopian a viewpoint to me. Humanity cannot be put into one place like that.
