@flamingpandaomg You're misconstruing my comment. Fact: We will never see any of the mane 6 in canon in a relationship with one another. There will be awkward situations that may be nods to fandom, but we will NEVER see that happen outright because of the nature of the show. It's not possible. Now, ...if some background ponies who never get a backstory or attention in the show are paired together, that's different for me. Hell, really the animators already kinda throw us bones with that subject, in a way. They purposefully leave the background ponies unexplored so that we can "keep our fandom intact" or whatever. That feels better to me than, say, "Flutterdash lol I promise it's kewl"
