@clayinthecarpet I'm trying to qualify for the final round so I can win some money to pay off a debt. Singing is the only thing I'm good at. literally, no joke. And it's not just this contest. All the talent and demonstration of ability means nothing, because I'm going to sit around being a worthless person who cant contribute to society because my only quality is considered by and large to be worthless. The same would happen if I went on youtube. I'll get five views and no one will care. Frank Martel or whatever his name is, he did a sloppy version of somebody to love and gets a million views within a week, and people on television say he sounds just like Freddy Mercury - which is an ignorant lie, but hey I'm the one who cant even get recognized for my vocal control.
