@xeleanorxrigbyx Donna was by far my favourite companion, and deserved a far better ending than she got. I feel like her character got screwed because it would make the following season easier to contrive, rather than for any solid plot based reason. I honestly felt the same about Amy and Rory's departure. Just tragedy for the sake of giving the writers an excuse to make the Doctor shout at people and angst around for a bit after.
