@thewaifutyphoon The tempered glass is a good idea, and gives the usually fragile panels an amazing lifespan, you just can't put them as roads. Another issue is /where/ they plan on getting the resources required to build such a thing. Assuming this would replace domestic power lines, the issue of copper is solved by using the then-obsolete wiring network as a source, but what about the other materials? Asteroid mining?
