    @derpy Believe it or not, I've tried that excuse with a principal before. Doesn't work, because the tool itself isn't considered a weapon even though it can be used as a projectile, similar to how you could still strangle someone with balls of paper or bare hands, but they're not intended to be used in that fashion.
