    @tiffany Ah, makes sense it would involve Kaoru. Lots of fans have posited the idea of him and Shinji as a couple (which is actually fairly believable in context). The scene in that picture is actually INCREDIBLY tense because of the weight of their relationship, romantic or otherwise.
