  1. @sim The topic was raised IRL because I read about one of the guys who got a nobel prize for figuring out human DNA being socially cricified for saying (paraphrasing as I don't remember the exact words) "There's no reason to assume that human populations that evolved in geographically separated areas have to be intelectually identical" which is reasonable, and it makes no sense to try and discredit one of the foremost experts on genetics simply because that statement is not PC.
    This is further reinforced by that study linked earlier about how children in different regions started reacting to mirror reflections recognizing the reflection as themselves at different ages.
