@delores @cyberpotato As potato pointed out, it's a mid point. It still has stats, actual level progression that you have to be careful with and plan ahead if you want a powerful character, and a lot of options, though not as many as previous games; but it also has user-friendly combat, map quest markers and a bunch more stuff to make it more approachable by somewhat casual players. It's something you can pick up and get the hang of even if you haven't played any proper RPGs. Morrowind you're mostly on your own in the world and the combat mechanics are bad, even if creative.
