I like to think that's why fashion shows like the one Rarity put on are such a big deal even in Ponyville, and not just for the lady viewers. Though they might have special clubs for paying customers in which case they put the clothes on slowly. Take a break for that image to become "normal" Then slowly take the clothes back off in fantastical ways for dramatic effect as a tease.
