@pony That gets into a comparison between resistance within an audio circuit, and loss of dBm vs dBspl... and the math for that is... not within my brain at the moment. Basic rule of thumb: you'll lose about 3 dBm with two connected, and when putting two speakers of equal volume together, you'll gain about 3dBspl of sound level in air. So, it would be roughly the same volume with two connected and (hypothetically) going into the same set of ears, as one set being connected.
