!calgary !college 45 minutes left 'til my stats final. Wish me luck; I'll need all I can get to stay awake. This course has been a complete waste of 60 hours. Our TEACHER said more than once that she could teach it in 5.

@pseudoartiste !calgary !college Nothing wrong with that. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. All the good grades I keep getting might sound impressive, but they're really just a side-effect of being in a program I'm naturally good at. || I never saw a single A+ when I was in high school. Hell, I never FINISHED high school. In order to get into this program I had to take English 30 for a third time, and not fail it. If I'd had to take Social Studies again, too, I probably wouldn't have gotten in. || With that said, STAT245 can certainly be a challenging course for people who aren't mathematically inclined. My main point was that it really, REALLY doesn't warrant 60 hours. I am not joking in the slightest when I say that my teacher kept having to remind herself to slow down in order to stretch the lessons out. On the plus side, she also kept showing us youtube videos of cool robots as filler.

@puzzlemint It's nice to find your niche, isn't it? I am kinda proud of my fail at maths. I've met very few artists who have any affinity for it.

!calgary !college T minus 15 mniutes 'till ELEC320, the final I'm least prepared for. Which is good. Set the bar low. I already passed all my courses, anyways. The finals are just there to pad my GPA.

Just got back from seeing "The Cabin in the Woods." Kind of hard to talk about without spoiling anything, but if you like a good, different kind of horror movie, I recommend it. Definitely R-rated, due to blood, drugs, sex, the whole 9, but nothing was gratuitous, and it handled itself well. Dialogue was up to Joss Whedon's standards, great banter and the like. If you're into horror, see this. !movies

!calgary !college So after leaving the electrical lab for the final time this year, having managed to avoid incident over two semesters. And then I somehow managed to electrocute myself while plugging in my phone charger. || I'm totally fine, but I've never been electrocuted before. My arm is kinda sore.

@colfax its kinda understandable when you work in a steel factory where every machine will brutality remove limbs or kill you. so I get plenty of excitement daily.

!calgary !college Aced Robotics, too. Which means I don't have to show up to any classes on thursday or friday. Rest of the finals don't start until next tuesday.

!calgary !college Well, I think I just aced the Projects final, including the rather weighty bonus. If that's true, then that would bring my current grade up to 100.27%. And I still haven't finished one of the labs. || I'm not going to finish it, either. I already have over 100%. I don't really need more %. Unless I can transfer it from my Projects mark to Mech, which I'm still a little shaky on. And by shaky, I mean I might only get an A, or even an A-.

The problem with classics is that they've almost certainly been spoiled by the time I get around to them. And I can't really complain. I mean, "Rocky" came out in 1976 - Pretty sure that 36 years later, the spoiler phase has ended. But I still can't experience an old film (or book, or whatever) as it was meant to be. #firstworldproblems !movies

@techdisk42 Way I see it, as long as it's harmless and you find a lady into it there's no room to hate. Like, people diss furries but what about other fetishes? It's like what the guy said on kotaku, it's as unreasonable as being prejudiced against people who wear orange underwear.
