  1. @rarity Yeah, I realize that, and I realize a lot of people here have good reasons to hate each other.

For example I still have never forgiven Matt for that really offensive thing he said about me in 2014. You know the one.

I gave up on "let's all get along" long ago. Now I just want "Please hate each other more quietly."

  2. @rarity Oh I'm definitely not singling you out at all. I just don't like how as soon as a little quarrel breaks out here, everyone rushes to start throwing fuel on the fire.

  4. @nerthos @rarity  By all means, continue to post about how you think Donald Trump’s victory was caused by prevalent racism or sexism or some other -ism. That is your right and I will defend it to the death. But Hillary Clinton didn’t lose this election because of an –ism. She lost this election because the American people rejected every single part of your platform and until you realize this, you are going to keep losing. One line that was repeated throughout the campaign when the pundits thought Trump was melting down was a Napoleonic quote: Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake. It would be easy to say this now as Clinton supporters blame everyone but themselves for this historic electoral result. But at the end of the day, this proverb doesn’t fit because you’re not my enemy. You are my friend, my neighbor, my countryman. We voted to Make America Great Again for all Americans and I sincerely believe that you will

  5. @rarity You are the reason he won. In every way. In your infinite confidence in that you are the good guy. In your belief that all the people who voted him did it because they are terrible people. In the belief that a political victory of a party that doesn't represent you is a defeat for your country and your culture, and that it is not a legitimate reflection of how the millions of people felt. And your idea of how to cope with it is to fight and attempt to undermine a constitutional government. That exact attitude is why people got over their disliking of a man like him, and voted him anyway in the hopes that they wouldn't be insulted like this, treated as if they were filth, just for disagreeing. He won because of people like you, and this time it's not me and my "regressive feudal views" saying it, it's me and 59 more million people. Get over it. You no longer can silence the people you don't like just by calling them bad adjectives.

Just what we cherrying needed. Another appleing delusional psychologically disturbed mental case in control of the United Snakes Of Amerikkka.

  17. @rarity He would, but he had apparently agreed to step down anyway from the beginning. Which shows how rotten the whole system is, considering bernie supporters were the only ones with actual passion for the election, campaigning out of their own (not very large) pockets

  20. @rarity I'll have to read more into her because you're right, Bernie Sanders will probably be ready to keel over by 2020 (IMO, although I supported him in the primaries, I was a little concerned about his ability to lead this country for a full term, the presidency is an aging job and Bernie Sanders does not need more aging)

  25. @rarity Basically. It's called "fileteado" and hilariously enough it was outlawed due to corporate interests (keeping all buses in a line the same so they were easier to identify and also cheaper to paint) in the same year that the art was declared to be cultural heritage of the country.
