@rednorth nah, far from it, even looking at from a 90s death metal perspective. Outside of their early glam material, Pantera would be groove metal. If we're talking 90s death metal we're talking bands like Death, Cryptopsy, Athiest, Morbid Angel, Entombed, Gorguts, and others in that vein.
