Every once in a while, I will realize some other thing that I know about ponies, and I'll briefly think to myself, "gee, maybe it's kind of weird that I know all the words to a song about 'cutie marks'" or "is it really sane that I can identify each episode of a little girls' cartoon from the first ten seconds?" And then I shrug it off and watch more pony.

Rainbow Dash ALWAYS dresses in style. The Great and Powerful Trixie has magic strong enough to vanquish the dreaded Ursa Major. Rocks are funny. Fabric is dumb. Mustaches are fabulous.

If you watch the second part of "Mare in the Moon" backwards, it's about how the mane six corrupt an innocent princess by sucking the rainbows out of her so she becomes and evil deity and proceeds to removes all holes in the trees, restores mustaches to sea serpents, and makes manticores gentle creatures; realizing that their new overlord sucks at being evil, the mane six wrecks a nearby rainforest while Noom Eramthgin continues to do nice things in Ellivynop.

Took a final exam this morning. Totally aced it. Came back home, replacement wheel for my car was on the front porch, so I got that fixed. Then I drove MY car to Toys'R'Us (and thanks @thelastgherkin for making me realize I'd never checked there). Walked in, went right to the girls' section... PONY EVERYWHERE. Made small talk with the other woman in that aisle. She asked me if I was shopping for a little sister or something, I said "nope." Picked up a Dash and Twilight and went to check out. Cashier asked if I wanted a gift receipt. I looked down at my Rainbow Dash t-shirt, looked at the Rainbow Dash box, looked back up at her, said "nope." #likeaboss #bestdayever

I think that's what i love most about the Pony community. How loving, forgiving, and accepting we aspire to be. That gives me warm fuzzies. =3

So Pony Season Finale Party was a success. There ended up being 10 people total. Though 3 of us live at the house. Lots of balloons and streamers and cupcakes and muffins and baked bads. Also @starshine attended as a bucket of turnips. Pictures of the party will be posted later. We are finishing up cleaning and then we are gonna head to our Big Lots to see if they have the single pony figures or not.

Pony Party was a resounding success. Cupcakes are great, baked bads are gross (duh) and random bronies are pretty cool. also so glad @starshine could attend (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/26022887/IMG_20110507_163058.jpg) Balloons. Balloons EVERWHERE. 169 of them.

!techponies I remember when I got my first 1.4 MB 3 1/2" disk. That cherries was DOUBLE DENSITY, man. You could fit ten whole hypercard stacks on it and still have room to spare. On that day, I truly was a god among nerds.

@princesparkler reminds me of a story I saw on /b/, where a college student had #toomuchpony and accidentally started an email to the professor with "Dear Princess Celestia." He didn't realize until he already sent it. The teacher's reply started with "My most faithful student anon." I wish I had that professor!
