( !eqdaily so people see this ) The Tumblr ponies have a good side as well. One of the OC ask accounts, named BassDrop, posted this message 4 hours ago: ((I have four bottles of pills here. Empty. See ya guys.)) The entire Tumblr brony network galvanized and went into overdrive, tracking him down, praying for him, and working to find more information about him. They eventually figured out that he was a Marine, and was able to alert his unit's commander. He then worked with the suicide hotline and got him into hospital before death. Thanks to this incredible fandom, a person who might have died tonight is now still alive. Good work, bronies.

A friend saw me taking screencaps of the Pie family for a project and she was like "what's going on?", to which I replied "so the pink pony was born in this Mennonite rock farming pony family and they do not understand what happiness is until she saw a rainbow and invented parties". She was all like "Who wrote this?! Seriously, who wrote this because this is AWESOME."

@thelastgherkin The Principia Discordia as a title is a play on the Principia Mathematica by Euler or Newton or whatever. Eris, the goddess of discord vs. the Illuminatus! like Luna and Celestia, respectively. Roughly, the Illuminati are the grand, all-time pyramid-scheme and purveyors of #spammer and the curse of the grey-face. (Where the famous monk, Greyface (sp?) was the one that went around in the slightly darker ages and peeped in people's windows to make sure that they were doing anything unclean.) Eris is our savior. She makes it impossible for the bad guys to ever win, because she is *so* distracting. I would love to repeat some of the 1000 byte or less parts of the principiadiscordia.com, but I promise that I will drop it, until I am nudged otherwise. http://ur1.ca/4yada

So earlier today @trombe got his new ID, since he is 21 now (he has been since the end of July). Anyways after we were done at the BMV we went to the grocery store. We decided to get some hard cider, neither of us got carded at the checkout. Apparently he has enough beard for the both us of or something. Also the girl at the checkout asked if we liked MLP since I was buying a Rainbow Dash toy. We were like YUP! I showed off my pins and my shirt (wore my EPS shirt today) and he showed off his crystal Pinkie keychain. The cashier thought our pony stuff was cool.

Munching on some steel cut oats. It's somewhat crunchier than the regular oatmeal, vaguely like chopped-up peanuts or something. Tasty, though. (Wait, why am I eating raw oats? Confound these ponies.)

@princegentlegiant one time I went through the motion-activated-toy aisle and there was a store employee there, I looked at him and said "how has this aisle not driven you insane yet?" He gave me this weird look and said "maybe I am insane."
